Maassluis kent vele bijzondere gebouwen en objecten en daar zijn we trots op. Met het project QR CODE BORDJES heeft Ervaar Maassluis samen met de Historische Vereniging Maassluis gewerkt aan de ontwikkeling van een nieuwe manier van informatievoorziening die geheel past in de huidige tijd van gebruik telefoon/tablet.

In de eerste fase zijn er elf bordjes geplaatst op historische panden en objecten. Via de QR code op de bordjes kan de bezoeker meer informatie vinden over het object. Wanneer de code gescand wordt met telefoon of tablet komt de bezoeker terecht op de betreffende pagina van ervaarmaassluis.nl. Per object is er een pagina waar alle beschikbare informatie te vinden is.

It's time again to introduce you to our new exhibitor!

From 2 July, Steven de Koning will be exhibiting! His historical city drawings are beautiful and each one unique. He brings back to life city views that have changed considerably over the years. The special thing about his work is that everything is worked out down to the smallest detail. Before he starts a new drawing, he has spent many hours studying the location through old photos. Studying ornaments, brick motifs and cornices. Everything is worked out as it used to look.

The historic ships of Maassluis set sail with passengers during the sailing season. The Bruinvisch, Tonijn and Steenbank offer unique cruises and do so every Saturday! The Elbe and Furie will also be organising additional cruises. The first special sailing trip will take place starting 21 May. The sailing programme is being organised in cooperation with the Stichting Sleepboothaven Maassluis, the foundation for the Towboat Port Maassluis. We at Experience Maassluis are the official booking office.   

All these activities stem from the executive programme Maritime Historic Maassluis. With the aim of preventing decline in and unoccupied buildings in the city centre and to promote sustainable growth by harnessing the potential of maritime heritage.
